I write to inquire about the ratings of internet radio stations. It is my understanding that Arbitron is the preeminent entity for audience ratings for internet radio stations. My interest is in the midatlantic region with the center being the washington DC-Metro area.
  • Is Arbitron the only internet radio ratings agency?
  • Is any internet radio station ratings agency making ratings information public?
  • What other information is available to estimate audience numbers and market penetration?
