About Jungle Music

Jungle (or old skool jungle) is a genre of electronic dance music that developed out of breakbeat hardcore and fused influences and the production methods from reggae, dub and dancehall. The genre is renowned for sampling the famous amen break and creating syncopated and complex drum patterns at a tempo of around 170bpm over deep reggae and dub style basslines.
